Range Rover Sport question
Apologies, this is a little off topic. Anybody out there own or has owned a Range Rover Sport? A good friend of mine is considering purchasing a 2006 RR Sport Supercharged, and has questions about gas mileage and general ownership issues. Anybody got any experience with this specific model?
Thanks in advance. |

Typically the rule of thumb is to ditch a RR when it hits 3-5yrs old.

Yes, air suspension is an issue..had this issues multiple times and have replaced the air suspension with shocks now and its a lot better. Gas mileage does suck though.

I had an 06 for 2 years and the gas mileage was horrific and the service was terrible was well. I'd advise against one.

Owned mine since new in 06. No major problems at all. Suspension could be a problem but id check the service records to see if anything was done under warranty. I love my sport and would buy it again any day. The supercharged will not get good gas mileage, i have the non supercharged and i get anywhere from 15 to 20. Expect about 13-18 in the supercharged. Its a great looking ride so if hes getting a good deal and all services have been done id certainly look into it.
