Champion, I'll give it a go. I tried another one recently, used the iso burning software they recomended, but no worky in my prof system.

Try it on CDR - general consensus is that CDR is a little more reliable than DVD.

Use DAO burning method and burn at a nice slow speed for a good quality burn!

I tried the prof version in my x5 and works fine. Remember to use good media and burn at a low speed ie x2 as this gives better results

This is n00b question, but how do I tell what version maps I have? Is there a way to tell from the iDrive? Mine's an MY11 build if that helps?

Go into Navigation, press the iDrive OPTION button, then look for Version (or similar). The maps for the new Professional nav (CIC) are now called "PREMIUM 20xx". I'm not sure what maps for the new Business nav (CIC Basic) are called.

Thanks, tried it with imgburn at 1x on a cdr and it works
