Virtual Dyno testing results - beta turbo upgrade
The two big results are from a beta set of turbos that are coming to market. The 394whp figure is from Cobb Stage2+FMIC aggressive alone which is within expectations for that map even on a Dynojet. All done on the same road to eliminate variables.
The big results were done on a custom JB4 board on Cobb Stage2+FMIC base mapping with 93 octane + meth (90/10 mix), single CM10 nozzle. If these numbers can be replicated on a real Dynojet, well, fun times for all!

I was dragging my heels with pushing these new turbos, and I finally got on my arse and did something. I did the S2FMIC-only run last and man, it's a huge difference. It felt like I was sitting there waiting for the car to accelerate compared to the all-out runs. Assuming a FBO+meth setup on stock turbos would be around 430whp or so, a 30-40 whp bump over that would be nice if real.

I need to gather all the necessary data to the vendor who will make a proper thread. I am actually going to the drag strip tomorrow with a few well-known members. I did 12.4@118 full weight, stock tires/wheels, and I will be going in the same trim again. I'm hoping for 122 full weight. I'm sure if I took all my seats out, ran Koseis all around perhaps I could add another 3-4 MPH for some glory runs, but no need.

The closest road where I can safely do a 60-130 multiple times is 40 miles away! Maybe I will go next week to do that.

If the runs are done correctly I think you will all be happy with these turbos as EVERY test that has been done correctly is pretty darn close to real dyno numbers. As is its purpose ... to save you money on dyno pulls. Though I never promote comparing peak numbers as real dynos are misused for that all the time. I wont get on that rant today. Enjoy and keep us posted on the results. Cheers

At 480-490whp, themyst should be seeing 125-126mph trap speeds. Curious to hear what he actually ran at the track.

I did very poorly actually, I was running 12.4s like clockwork at trap speeds ranging from 113-116. Not sure what's going on but that's for investigation. I'll report back.
