I think you're fighting an uphill battle here. They're wheels, not rims, and it's an engine not a motor, but the terms are used interchangeably even by very knowledgable folks...

My daily has front plate, my weekend one does not. I rarely get issues by NJ cops unless it's the Palisades Pkwy (usually the entrance in Englewood Cliffs), any checkpoint or deep in the burbs where cops have nothing better to do.
You pay to play, but for me I'll pay $50 each time rather than drill holes in my bumper. And I'm not a fan of the off-centered tow hook options. I'd actually rather ziptie if I could but no real mounting options on my car. I guess you could consider using double sided tape. |

Only been stopped once for no front plate and I told the cop that I needed new screws for it or else it would fall off and he let me go

Yes you will get pulled over, will you get a ticket? Depends if you have PBAs? Military Vet? and if the cop is in a good mood? I just got tired of being pulled over so i threw the tow plate back on f itttt

The only benefit of having plates on the front is when parked on the street and someone is trying to parallel park his car in front of yours and backs up slowly and taps your front bumper, the front plates provide protection for the bumper and usually puts scratches on the other person's back bumper, maybe even plate indents depending on how hard he backs into your front.

If you look up "douche" in the dictionary you'll find a picture of parkway policeman.

Ive received the no front plate ticket once in my acura but the cop hated my car and stalked me anytime i was in his town...he got me for exhaust, tints and no front plate.
anyway heres an idea for you guys that often park at meters or in cities where pvb tickets a lot. when you get out of your car just slap the plate on using magnets http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=387209 |

Motorized plate for me so no tickets. Got pulled over for tint in Brooklyn. Showed him a family gold card. Told me to roll up the window, say it's supposed to be 70%, you're at 17%. Goodbye. Walks away.
