2009 E90 IDrive not displaying radio song names?

So i have the split screen on to radio/multimedia turned on. It shows me the radio station, but not the song name that is playing at that time on the radio. Same when i play my music uploaded to it also. How do i get it to do this?

Is'nt it only digital raidos that display song titles on the radio, I did not buy that upgrade on my car
