Maybe you need to turn the volume up all the way on your iphone once its plugged in.

Maybe its a BMW problem not an Apple problem. The dealer might need to upgrade some software.

There should be a little icon on the phone next to volume control on the screen on the phone that looks like a little window with an arrow (only shown when music is playing). Make sure its set to "iPhone" rather than whatever else it may show (or visa versa). Accessories plugged in offer the output of the music. This often happens when you plug in the cable.

Do you have the AUX cable plugged in?

First of all, I can barely understand what you are trying to say.
Second, earlier model BMW Bluetooth doesn't support A2DP connection. So you are not able to play music via Bluetooth.
Search Blackberry Bluetooth Gateway for a alternative method.

Depending on the year of your car, you can update your software to support A2DP and you'll have it listed in external devices. When your phone is plugged in, make sure it is set to "dock connector" not iPhone as someone else mentioned.

It really is a simple thing, not sure why you are having trouble.

Does the BB gateway work for the iPhone?
