Cinderblocks for tires

One of the lamest things to see is your car sitting on cinderblocks (actually my own cinderblocks from the garden) first thing in the morning...

People are getting more and more daring these days, considering that my room is directly above my gated driveway and the lights in my room were on till 2am. Guess times are tough...

At least they were kind enough to leave my lugnuts on the ground and place the cinderblocks in the right places. Don't think the sideskirts were damaged...

BMW of Oysterbay actually sent 2 guys over with a set of tires and drove the car over to the dealership. Geico is sending an adjuster tomorrow to get a quote on it. I'm going to talk to my SA there and see if they can try to hook me up with some black 199s with wheel locks. Maybe I'll come out good from this thing after all.

Now the question is...stick with my non-RFTs or give RFTs a shot...

Pics to come...

That sucks. I am probably not that far from you. I am East Meadow. Hope those guys don't come to my neck of the woods. My bedroom looks over my driveway. I may have to keep a couple of loaded pistols by my bed now.

Non RFT's all the way.

No, not at all. Thats the surprising thing, my window is literally 20 feet above where they took the wheels.

Theres a motion-sensor flood light mounted on the side of the house that goes off as well. These guys really took some big risks to snag a few 162s...

Well hopefully I can get some 199s since BMW no longer makes the 189 style wheels anymore. Wishful thinking...
