Mismatched brands front and back okay or not?
Guys, I'm currently running staggered set 18's with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's front and back. My back set is shot, and I'm thinking of going with the Michelin Super Sport. I just want to make sure it is okay to do this. I know you are not supposed to mix bias type for tires, but I'm thinking this is okay since the back set is already a different size (width) then the fronts, and the tire patterns are slightly different due to the different tire sizes. Any insight? Thanks

You will be fine, its not "recommended" but you really won't notice much.
As long as you stay the same on the rear's and front's you will be fine. Also try to stay away from running half RFT and half nRFT |
