front license plate ticket help

so i got a ticket last night for not having a front license plate by a suffolk county cop. how can i get this dismissed. i heard you can send in a pic of your car with the plate mounted but im not sure. anyone been through this before and can help me out?

You could buy the front two hook license plate bracket. That way if the court requires a picture, you have that and it doesn't require drilling so you can remove it after the ticket. In regards to getting it dismiss, I have no idea as I never got one.

i have a tow hook mount but i keep it in my trunk and only put it on for longer trips. but i dont know how i fill out the ticket, idk if i should plea guilty and mail in pic of the plate on the car.

From what i remember, they do not do fix it tickets anymore? might be wrong tho....

don't know about ny but in NJ/ PA you would appeal and request a court date, and could provide a presentation if neccesary, although if if the ticket is not that bad pay it and save yourself a lot of time and 33 dollar court fee?

i would just go back to the police station and show them, just zip tie it since you don't have a FMIC.

A cop checks for this every night on my street. I have two cars a Lincon Navigator and a 335i both with no front plates. The cop always tickets my 335i but never my nav. Mabe he saw my hot wife in Nav. I now have the front plated mounted with strong two sided tap and pull plate off when I go to a car show. No mounting holes on my front end.

Have the wife drive your car in front of the cop couple times...
