Rear Lamp LCI Retrofit
Hey guys,
Im wondering if any of you have retrofitted your back lights? If so, where? how much? did you have to change your footwell module? and did it include coding? It will make my car's rear end complete! **Also will my nearest BMW dealership be able to do this?** Last edited by 1sh@Crystalwhite; 03-29-2012 at 03:00 PM.. |

You will need
1- Hardware 2- FRM2 or FRM3 3- Coding 4- Painting If you have FRM1, you will need some capacitors (never done it, so cant speak if they go parallel to indicators).

I got LCI tail-lights fitted to my E93. I got original (not dodgy copies) from German Ebay (making about a 50% saving from buying them from the dealers). They come complete with PnP leads. It took me about 10-15 mins to fit.
When fitted the lights work straight away, but the indicators flash fast and you get a check light warning. I took my car to Mstyles in Romford, Essex and 20 mins later and about £35 lighter my FRM2 module was recoded and the lights work perfectly.
