I'd probably shoot Harold a PM and get his opinion. I haven't seen koni yellow v. TCK shock dyno's, so I can't say with certainty what the specific differences are. My guess is that the TCK are valved to handle stiffer springs. Also, I believe the top adjustable shocks are the same ones as the TCK kit.
So...my uniformed guess is that if you plan on running higher spring rates, the TCK kit is worth it. If not, go with the HPA koni conversion kit.

In the rear, we will offer the kit with the standard adjustable shocks(must remove the shock to adjust) or the TCK externally adjustable shock. |

While I don't want a super aggressive stance, I am looking into different set ups to lower my car. I want a nice clean lowered look. How low will the koni + swift spring kit go? Does anybody have ride heights especially compared to KWv1? What about if I just go with koni shocks and say eibach or h&r springs? I do not want a harsh ride.

The ride will be better (with the lowering that you probably want) with the Koni/Swift combo v. a shock/spring combo.

I'd be interested in a group buy or preferential pricing on suspension!
I don't care about looks whatsoever, or adjustability for that matter. I just want a nice "set it and forget it" setup for square tires that takes the slop out of the xi and gives it a nice, firm yet streetable ride without making me have to slow to 5 mph to go over speed bumps. I'd like a ride compliance like my stock Evo X has or like I imagine a stock M3 probably has, maybe slightly firmer. |

Nailer - also meant to thank you for getting this thread and interest going and helping out other XI enthusiasts/owners out there. Appreciated, look forward to settling on my suspension decision and sharing with the XI crowd.

I decided that it makes more sense to get better handling and looks out of the car before putting more power to her. Not much sense in putting more torque/hp to the wheels if she can't go into or come out of the corners any faster.
Subscribed to this thread so I don't miss out on a possible deal for a big handling and aesthetic upgrade. |

I'm subscribing to this thread as well...I don't track my car and really just looking for the lowered look as well as better handling using a coilover or something just as good.
