People who had experienced vanos issues in the past, i need your help.
So here is my story, i changed camshaft position sensor, both solenoids, and did an oil change still getting same codes and limp mode p0012 p0015 p1554. (oil and oil filter from BMW, instead of 6.5 quarts shop put 7 quarts, is it ok to drive with 7quart or should i drain it 6.5?).
What should i do next? Reprogram the DME or get my Cam bearing ledges done? |

I had to get my bearing ledges taken care of as well as my camshaft. But I was throwing different codes than you were.. Here is my thread about my issues.

If its not solenoids, at this point it's most likely bearing ledge(s). Unfortunately...
|

yep 1 l = 1.06 qts
6.89 qts im sure they left .11 qts in the bottles
