My new PE! (yes....yet another thread!!) /w pics

I know everyone is bored of seeing threads of people upgrading their exhausts, but i have to share my excitement somehow, my girlfriend doesn't seem to care much :/

So here are some pics of the installation and an audio clip of a cold start. Also deleted the secondary cats.

Sound Clip (recorded with an iphone), watch it in HD

It arrived!

since i deleted the secondary cats, i didnt bother with the clamps on the far end closer to the motor, I welded the two pipes. However, i did use the clamp for the muffler piece, which i'm kind of regretting, there is a rattling noise i hear when i back up on low rpm and i think its that damn clamp...i'm thinking about welding that piece as well. Better off welding to avoid any exhaust leaks.

what made me decide was the fact that BMW makes it solely for their cars, might as well get from them. Also the fact that BMW Monrovia is selling it for 907

I used the clamps, got them finger tight and then hit them with the impact. No leaks, no rattles, no odd noises. Also if you install it yourself like I did do the pipes first and then hang the muffler, a lot less weight to balance. Then you can go back and tighten all of the hangers up.

These threads never get old to me. I love the sound of this exhaust and feel there is no better out there in sound and quality. Nice car too!

This should give you an idea of the internals. A normal stock exhaust wouldnt have the perforated pipe inside, causing it to be much quieter.
