Little yellow triangle next to the mileage?
Hi, first time user here, and would appreciate any help or advice given to my little problem please?!
I have a 2006 55 BMW 320d SE tourer, and next to the mileage it has a little triangle with an exclamation mark in it. I've had the car serviced by a BMW specialist today, and he couldn't turn it off (he said the error code showed a problem with my ABS hydro pump). Does anyone know of a way to get rid of it without changing this part? The car is still performing perfectly anyway so I don't want to foot the bill for this expensive part. Any ideas or comments would be entirely appreciated. Thanks. |

It indicates that there is an error, sometimes this comes up when you need to top up windscreen wash etc.
Use the BC stalk, navigate to the check car symbol and it will display whats the cars problem ![]() |

I doubt you can simply get rid of the error.
ABS is a critical safety system on the car, if you are having an ABS issue, you might want to get it fixed. You might not notice the issue because you don't use the ABS system everyday, but you'll damn sure notice it when the ABS fails when you need it (like a very hard emergency stop). It's been awhile since I've lived in the UK but I don't think you can even pass MOT with a critical safety system failure like that. |

I am having the same symbol pop up when I start the car and stays on by the mileage after that. I went to the check status on the display and it shows the triangle bigger at the top and nothing else, no codes of any kind.
Ive been searching here for a while trying to find an answer and looking through the manual too. No luck yet! |
