looking for a new car..

My commute's killing my 335. I need a second car to drive to work and back. Give me some good suggestions for cars around $2,500.00

Maybe an old e30? That way you have the old and the new generation. I was thinking of doing this as well.

e30 motors will usually outlast their bodies. Surprisingly, e30 parts are really cheap. My brother-in-law and his friends all drive e30's with ultra high mileage on them and they are still running like beasts. They get a lot of their parts on the internet. Check out the r3vlimited.com forums and classified ads. I've seen e30 325's on craigslist for as little as $900. But with $2500 to spend, I'm sure you'll have a lot of other options if you're just looking for a daily beater car.

nothign really except you can put a lot of miles on it quite quickly. and that can be a problem if you lease. or even if you bought it, nothing wrong with wanting a beater to keep miles low on your new 335i.

Used Accord? Civic? Something that is reliable and has good mileage with low maintenance.
