In need of some Spring advice Please Help
Hey so i have a e90 lci 328 xdrive and I just put some 19s on and obviously the gap is huge.
I have some tien s line springs that I managed to get at a really good price but I have no idea how aggressive the drop will be on a xi. Tien says that E90 330 has a 0.9 inche drop in front and 1.1 inch in the back For the E90 335 the front drops 1.4 inches and the rear 1.2 inches My question is how much should i expect these springs to drop my car? I think my car is like 12 pounds more that a 335i so will it be similar? Will these springs work on an xi from what I read they should but there really is not much about tien springs on the forum Any advice would be much appreciated thanks |

I have the Eibach Pro-Kit for the 335 installed on my 325xi. I've only had the kit installed for less than one week, but the initial drop was 1/2" in the front and 1" in the back. I'll go out and measure it again in a few days.

Yes, it did settle a bit more in the front. I'm hoping that it will settle a bit more in the next week. I've only had the suspension installed for less than week at this point.
I've been doing some research and it looks like there is a small 1/4" front strut tower reinforcement plate that can be removed for a bit more drop. I think my install shop left the reinforcement plate in place. Either way I was looking for a minimal amount of drop in the first place, and lowering it about 1" is enough to get rid of the 4x4 look. |
