Smoking Tail Lights. What's best?

For all those who have DIY smoked tail lights, Is there a specific brand recommended?

Thanks. Just ordered a set. Looks like good quality and not too hard to apply

If vinyl, go with lamin-x or order from sticker city. If you want to paint, which looks better imo, use VHT nightshades, a few coats of clear, and then wetsand and polish.

you could try rvinyl. I ordered some for another car (side markers) and it doesn't have the orange peel the laminx has. I recommend getting whole sheets because pre-cuts don't always fit well.

i just tried rvinyl i bought a 24x24 inch sheet an cut it in half. well i thru it away maybe if you used a whole sheet it would work better but i just couldn't get the bubbles out, the curve when the tail light forms to the side of the car is APITA i could either get the side to look good or the face of the light i used heat and everything. maybe you will have better luck its not at all like tinting a flat window.
