When will I be notified for an oil change, I've got 7,200 miles, I thought I would have been at 7000.

Assume you are talking about a 335d. Oil change interval is usually 12000 miles or more. Your car will show remaining distance through the onboard computer.

This is all explained in your owner's manual.

make sure they put 8 quarts of oil, not 7.
make sure they fill urea.

Make sure they don't use a screwdriver on the adblue port.
