How much lower does the aero lip make your car look
As the title says I'm contemplating the BMW OEM aero lip for the front bumper. I wanted to know how much lower does it make the car look. It's pretty low already. I currently have the car dropped with the H&R sport springs for the E92 on 19s...
Wanted to know if it even makes sense add the aero lip.. I have a pretty steep entrance to get into my community. And I'm concerned if I add the lip it will rip off or rub. There's no prob now But y i think that is bc I had the car towed a few days ago and when they were dragging it on the tow truck bed. It missed rubbing the bumper by less than half an inch. Angle was pretty similar to that of the driveway |

If you only have about half an inch clearance from your driveway, I wouldn't get the aero lip... You could maybe try it and go up your driveway at an angle if you want, though.

It doesn't really lower it that much. Maybe an inch at the most. It does stick out about, maybe 2 to 3 inches, more so you have to keep it in mind when parking. I HAD it on my car and I didn't fee like it was lower. It just looked sleeker. Get a good one, don't buy from an unknown ebay seller!! Trust me!

I drove my car for about 8 months and never scraped anything. And now with the lip I scrape too often and you can't pull up to a parking block fully or u will damage the lip. The lip def lowers the front by at least an inch so you should expect to scrape more frequently. However it really makes the front look slick.

The Aero Lip does not really make the car much lower but the low part is right at the front of the car and it is very easy to scrape it on a steep driveway if the car is already lowered.

like the others have said, its not really that much "lower"... but since it does stick out further, you just have to be a little bit more careful entering/exiting driveways and parking blocks. not much of a big deal tho.
