E92 LCI tail light issue
So, my tail lights are suposedly "coded" so that no error shows up on the dash and so that they do not hyper flash.
The weird thing is that they do not hyper flash. However, upon starting the car they do hyperflash for about 1 click on the right side and a click on the left side, and the bulb out warning is on. However, after the initial clicks of the turn signals they are fine and as if they came with the car OEM. My question is what is this issue I'm having, and is everyone that is coded having the same issues?? THANKS GUYS! |

You need to code out the bulb checks for the lights that are flickering. The car seems to be coded for LED blinkers (since they don't hyperflash) but if you don't code out the bulb checks, they will flicker occasionally.

As stated above, if you properly code out ALL the rear light Cold/Warm Checks, and the Error Reporting you will have no problems...
