Anyone work in the Higher Education field?

Wanted to see if anyone work in the higher education (University) field either as an administrator or different parts of the college? And how did you like or not like it?

Reason I'm asking is that I have a chance to work for my local University, I used to work there when I was still in college as a assistant but now it will be working full-time.

Just wanted to hear some opinions and feedbacks from those that worked or is working at a University right now.

I have a couple of friends working for universities. It's like government jobs. You get good pay and good benefits, and relatively more stability.

I work at a community college as an admin. It's one of the best careers I've had. Believe it or not, CC's pay the highest out of all types of higher ed. It's the hardest to get into, but once you're in, it's gold.

What kind of questions do you have?

P.S. no, I don't work at USC
