meth kit has air in line

Seems like every time I inspect my methanol kit (BMS WW kit) theres always air in the line that goes from the flow solenoid to the nozzle. Pic included. There is about an inch of air in the line where the nozzle connects. Is this normal or do I need to tighten some stuff up??

It's normal.
Air BEFORE the solenoid is not normal.

I don't understand why it's normal? I would think the high pressure side of the pump should be sealed tight, whereas you might have some air seaping in on the suction side of the pump.
