OEM Cheap Turbo? Tischer was expensive

Hey all.

So I tried a couple keywords in the search "oem turbo supplier" (and more different itterations) and didn't really get what I was looking for. I've seen a couple people post some contact information for cheaper OEM turbos.
Checked Tischer and 800ea turbo is more than I'm looking to spend.

Any contact info/help? Thanks.

Chris

I guess I'm pretty nervous to get used turbos because I'm no pro to know if they are any good?

$800 each turbo plus install your looking at around $2500 ( just guessing).

For about $5000 you could get the RB's done.

nah they're down to about $650 each

edit: shouldn't be more than $1200 for labor. even that is on the high side since they only take 6-8 hours to do

Dealer labor is book time. They could finish it in 10 minutes but they will still charge book time which is how long BMW says a mechanic can take to do the work.

Without going used you can't get them cheaper unless you find someone to rebuild them.

I'm not getting anything, this is getting covered under warranty. For all I care, they could say 30 hours.

I know, I like hearing what the dealership has to say so I always ask about how long the job will take. I know its not a basic job because the front turbo is a bit of a hassle. But to say double digit hours is almost like an engine swap for a good amount of cars.
