So I recently had to have a headlight replaced in my 07 328 due to someone side swiping my car while parked. Now there is a huge difference in color between the old (original headlamp) and the new . The new bi xenon looks almost the same color as the outer angel eyes on the new lamp and the old one(driver side) is a super bright bluish white color. They tell me that it just needs burn in time?
Does this sound correct?
Any advice would be appreciated. FYI all stock original BMW parts.

Replace the bulb on the old side. It's because it's a new bulb in on the new side...and a 5 year old bulb on the old side. That'll do it. The bulbs color-shift over time, but it will take hundreds of operating hours to equilize in color. So I'd get the new bulb if the color change bothers you.
