Mine was finished on the 5th and is still at the port waiting for its ship to come in. Not quite 10 days for me, but about a week. I thought it was faster between port and ship.

Mine is still at the port i think too, i had the vin number and i called bmwna to check but they told me they wouldn't know better than my dealer. I've tried to track it on the ship website and it doesn't show either. Maybe me and adsam are in the same shipment.

yup, the hookers are all using the backseats of our cars while they are at the port waiting to finally be put on a ship. Mine's been sitting there all week too.

I don't know the exact date that my car showed up at the port, but it's been there over a week now.

note that if you are on a "K" line ship (www.kline.com) , you won't know about it unless you ask your dealer, they don't let you track by VIN.

Also, it will take a couple days for the 1800 number to show that you are on a boat.

I finished on 6/22, got to port on 6/25 (approx) and I got on a boat on 6/30 for reference. The 1800 didn't show I was on a boat until 7/2.

My car was finished on June 26. I can't find it now... It was "at the port awaiting a shipping vessel" until about a week ago, when it changed to "en route." Yesterday, it switched to "at the port awaiting a shipping vessel" according to the 1-800-crackline.

I've checked W&W, and my vin does not register, so I'm thinking I must be on K-line (unless my car really has been waiting at the port of exit for over 2 weeks).

I know what you are going to say "Ask your dealer." The problem is that I have... I asked him a week and a half ago to give me some information about gettng some accessories installed at the Performance Center (I'm doing PC delivery), and asked if he could tell me what ship I'm on. He said he would check into it, and has not responded to any of my emails since.

Ugh!

If you just switched status yesterday, then it may have been Western Highway which is a KLine vessel. My wife's X3 was on there and just made the same status changes.

It could take a while before your car gets on a ship. Some people had to wait for about 3 weeks (the normal is 1-2 weeks).

The mystery deepens...

Apparently, I have not heard back from my CA because he took a position at another dealership. My dealership failed to mention that I have a new CA, so I've been emailing my original CA and wondering why he won't get back to me.

So, when I called the dealership this afternoon, I was told that my car is at the VPC - but this is unconfirmed - it may have arrived there today. That would have put me on the Western Highway, I presume.

If my car is, in fact at the VPC right now, I wonder where they will house it for the next MONTH while I wait for my Performance Center delivery on August 13!

May car arrived at the port in Bremerhaven on Friday 7/6, so tomorrow will be ten days of waiting for a ship, I thought this was unusual, until I read this thread. A lot depends on where you car needs to go(final destination) and how many cars in front of you that need to go to the same place. These ships carry other makes. Some ships go first to Gothenburg, Sweden to pick up Volvos and Saabs.
