nos over border?

I was just wondering I have nitrous in my car, but I am going to be going over the canadian/us border frequently for school. Would they harrass me for it or what is the best thing to do(keep empty tank, disconnected)? I don't really want to disassemble it.

They might hassle you over it. Best bet is to find out if its even legal in Canada, nitrous might be an illegal install itself.

Can you disconnect the bottle and remove it from the car? I think the big thing might be the bottle itself, because border patrol doesn't know what you have inside the bottle. Sure, the obvious thing is your either have nitrous or its empty, but you could have drugs or an explosive in it. They have to expect the worst.

Remove the bottle and aviod the hassle. Boarder crossing into Canada are becoming more time consuming and difficult. Why add to that.
