Exclamation HELP! How to move car when out of rolling diameter limit?

I ran into an issue where one of my lugs won't come off. I've already put 3 of my 19" wheels on, but the front right wheel is still sitting on a 17". I'm going to need to get it to a shop with an impact wrench, but I was wondering how I can safely transport it there without switching out the wheels again. Any help is appreciated -- thanks.

What are the tire sizes?

You can buy battery powered impact guns at many auto part stores. Makes wheel swaps much easier. Dunno if that helps.

EDIT: If your lugs are on that tight I would also recommend a torque wrench. You spin the lugs on with the wrench lightly then torque them to the final value. Ramming them on with an impact, which far too many shops do, then checking them with a torque wrench is not the correct procedure.

Over torqued lugs is the number one cause of warped brake rotors.

would have to know the tire sizes to check how much out of diameter they are. if its within 1% itll be okay for a short drive.

have you tried pb blaster and breaker bar with a pipe extension on it?

Use a breaker bar + jack handle for increase torque, theres no need to use an impact gun.

Thanks everyone. I tried everything by hand and am scared to strip the lug because the wrench started to warp. I ran out to buy an impact gun and will try again with it tomorrow.

I have a 225/40/17 and 235/35/19 on the front and two 265/30/19 rears so it's way off.

Pull fuse #20?

No idea if this works or not (in terms of running different tire diameters) so do this at your own risk.

This happens very often with classics and track rats. Did you try heating the lug?? Propane torch.

Haven't tried heat. Just going to use the impact wrench.

Do you have a stud conversion? I've never heard of wheel bolts being this hard to get off...

If you have no choice but you use a tow truck, make sure it's a flat bed. I'm thinking that it should come off with high heat.

Maybe they are cross threaded? If they are they will be hard to remove, and you will probably snap the lug bolt. I would be prepared to get a set of extra bolts just in case.
