HR Coilovers for 5 Series on a 3 series?

I got a friend who has a set of 5 series HR coilovers for sale cheap, i got an appointment @ a shop to see if they fit my e92, anybody have any ideas as to whether they cause any problems? assuming they fit of course.......

any help, would be greatly appreciated...........

don't do that, spring rates are going to be different to say the least and the 5 series weigh way more than your 3

If you can afford a 335 why go cheap and ruin it with wrong suspension.

Only a 99 lb difference between steptronic 3-series and manual 5-series, and the E90 335i weights 100 lbs MORE than the E60 52i 6MT. So I don't think weight would be the big issue with the two models.

E60 528i 6MT = 3505 lbs
E90 328i 6MT = 3340 lbs
E90 328i step = 3406 lbs
E90 335i step = 3605 lbs
