Lux H8 AE and low/high beam upgrades?
Hey everyone,
I recently purchased a 2011 328xi that did not come with Xenon lights, it came with the dull halogen yellow lights. I upgraded the rings to the RD Angel Eyes but am not satisfied with the brightnight of it during the day. Are the AE Lux H8 compatible with my headlight unit? Or are they made specifically only for xenon headlight units? I also upgraded my high/low beam h7 bulbs to the MTEC h7's, and they still aren't as bright as I would like them to be. What are my other alternatives to fix this issue? Will installing an HID kid fix this, and if so what is a reliable/affordable brand to go with? Thanks for any input! |

I made a call to a local custom shop in Brooklyn, the shop goes by the name of 180 customs, have anyone heard of them before? From their facebook page, the work they do looks immaculate.. but a sales rep quoted me at about $1200 to have xenon projectors and their own special AE ring installed.. thats a big hit to the wallet, but if anyone has had them done before and recommend it, it might be worth the big bucks.

I considered going with OSS but I have no idea how to take my headlights in, and the labor for taking it out and placing it back in would probably cost about $200+ in labor. Not to mention a turn-around time for 1-2 weeks =T
