Retrofit rear fog lights

Replaced an Audi A4 that had rear fogs with an '11 335d.
Is there any way to retrofit rear fog lights on this car?
What p/n's are needed?
Thx!

Your BMW already has Rear Fog lights. All you need is the EURO switch as posted at ECStuning (or other vendors). The lights are used as additional brake lights in the USA, but the Euro switch turns them into Rear Fogs.

Here's the DIY for the Euro switch install: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75343

There is a DIY to convert the US switch to activate the fogs, but lacks the fog light icon and doesn't light up on the switch like the Euro switch does. But it only costs you some time and a little plastic scrap to work as a Euro switch.

Here's the US Switch Mod DIY: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ghlight=switch

Forget the lego parts, all you need is to break the tabs on the blank piece, the switch is already there on LCI cars.

I love using my rear fogs in heavy rain.

I'm looking into retrofitting a switch in the cabin so i can flash my reverse lights at tailgaters. It would be an easy project

Rear fogs - done!

Thx for all the help - did the switch mod, while the wife decides if the backlit button is worth $100.
Cant imagine why BMW went thru all that trouble to hide them, esp when other manufacturers offer the feature standard.
As this is our first BMW after decades of Audi's, guess we have some adjusting to do...

Lego mod ftw! But I used a floor tile spacer (little X piece fit perfect for this) and a broken pencil lol

Probably because most US drivers don't know when to use them and when NOT to! Idiots running around with Front and Rear fog lights on all the time! Annoying at least and dangerous at worst for following drivers when used under the wrong conditions!

It's allready there and it's free! Quite simple mod and lightup in the dashboard. Have you ever driven in a snow storm or heavy rain? I'll make sure the followers know where I am. Cheers. Use your judgment.
