Hit a pothole so big on the Throgs Neck that the wheel broke in two, punctured the bottom of the car, tie rod snapped, all the DSC ABS wires were cut, and the fender cracked. Still in litigation with the bridge authority, but we already received 70% of the cost of repair. The asphalt eroded away in the rain all the way down to the metal plate and the bridge knew about the condition and didn't close it off. We, and another Porsche Turbo slammed into it and had to take a flatbed home. Total mess. 5k in damage. Another instance on the Cross Island pkwy where the fender cracked and wheel broke + bubble in tire = compensated. They do pay out, file your paperwork right with the Commissioner.

Guess I am staying away from 19's, I had 18's 235/50/18 all around in my Cadillac STS 2006 for 1yr 3 months on Conti's DWS (only had 2 small bent rims in that length) thank god in 10,000 miles no bubble, no cracks, no flat tires.
I hope I have good luck with this new bmw, I am debating to upgrade from 16 to 18 with some OEM rims but now the big question am I gonna go RFT or NON-RFT any help?
