LCI E90 Halogens: Options?
Good morning!
I began my search on google, e90 post, and a few other sites; however, I have yet to find a satisfying answer. I am trying to figure out what options are available to convert my LCI Hgens to xenons. I understand that OEM the coding is very task heavy and that euro spec lights might be an option? But Im not completely satisfied seeing as a bunch of posts I found were pre-lci or someone putting d1s bulbs with a ballast I to reflector housings.. I'm looking for a more clear cut options, that being said, adaptive headlights really are one of the last things on my mind. Any options to get projectors into my car? |

![]() If you're feeling adventurous, you can do a bixenon projector retrofit yourself. You can even order the OSS rings designed for the LCI halogens, and install those too, although that might look a little odd during the day, because the rings are so large, while the OEM xenon angel eyes are "tighter" with the projectors. If you want a shop to deal with it, I highly suggest: LightWerkz (amazing work, but extremely expensive) ONEighty Customs (amazing work, did the MAC "Mean Green" M3 Headlights, not as expensive as LW) BlackFlameCustoms I would shoot for RX350 bixenon projectors, or if you want a quad setup, 4x FX-R 3.0 bixenon projectors. The 4x FX-R's will help to mitigate the 'laser-beam' high-beam they have. If anything I said here doesn't make sense at all, or if you want more clarification or help, PM me! I'll do my best to respond within 24 hours. |
