Painting the Headlight Housings on My e92 LCI?
So, I was thinking about how much better the headlights on the e92 LCI would look if the few chrome parts in the housing were either black or gray (to match the rest of the housing).
My question is: How hard is it to dis-assemble and re-assemble the housing? Has anyone done this? There could be a thread about this, but I looked and couldn't find anything.

check out the DIY section.... off the top of my head, i'm pretty sure the glue [that holds the face to the housing] gives way at around 220°F. Best to get to around 250° and then pry it open with gentle tools, making sure not to make a mess. I'm curios to know what brand of glue would be best for resealing the housing
i'm going to do a practice run on my pre-lci e90 halogens this week, i'll find out the details then. |
