having a little trouble removing the harness to the center ac vents and the trim around the shifter nd ashtray. diy link or suggestions

This is not the hardest part. Connecting the pin afterwards, is worse. To avoid all this, I pop out the vent instead while leaving the pins in the connector. There are about 6 taps that hold the vent to the trim. You could pry them loose with a screw driver. It takes a little time and patience but it is so much easier than trying to connect the pins with a needle nose in a space that is about the size of a quarter.

What is absolute control???? Having the means and the abilities to exercise it at will but....chooses not to.
