Connected now to clear air bag code
Ok I finally figured it out and got INPA working. I tried clearing code via errors but light didn't go away. Is there a certain way I have to go about clearing/resetting my e90 06 325xi? What do I need to add my e90 to NCS Expert my current version 3.0.8 only goes to e89?

Find proper module. Select clear error memory. You are successful if a box appears in the upper right saying so. This will reset the light until its triggered again if the problem persists.

INPA
That is what I did from reading error msg clicked to clear green tinted box came up on right, read it again and error was still there and lights on. Think I did see the passenger seat module but can't remember what happened. I will try again shortly. Do you know where I can get an update for NCS? t/u

Cleared air bag
Ok wne into Karosserie then to air bag and was able to clear error code and light off but seat belt light still on. WHen I go directly to seat module then passenger I get D_BFS
IFH-0009 no response from controlunit Do I need to look under a different location for the seat belt to clear it? I am getting closer and learning slowly but surely. History: This started from driving one day droped a paper reached down side of console and pass seat hand hit some wires and air bag and seat belt light came on. Thought it was due to leaning on seat while trying to get paper. Info to help me resolve issue. t/u Last edited by kaw900r; 04-29-2012 at 11:59 AM.. |

If it keeps setting codes after you clear them then it still senses a fault. Perhaps you disturbed the connection to the seat sensor and it is still loose.
