Dash kit for M sport manual transmission

I have aa 2011 335 i sedan with MT and M sport pac, it has the aluminum carbon ? look dash trim and I would like to switch to wood. All the aftermarket stick on kits are for auto trans, can someone recommend a company or the best way to switch to wood trim?

Can you send a pic? I have m-sport 6MT with dark wood trim, maybe we can do a straight up swap.

Best way is to trade with someone on here in the B/S/T who has the wood, or to buy their wood trim. Should only take about 5 mins to find someone who wants your trim.

I will try and get a picture, how hard is it to remove the trim? Can you send or post picture of yours?

I guarantee someone will swap you for your trim. Someone might even put cash on top. Find someone in FL to swap so you can have the real thing. Everything else is going to look like crap.

Thanks, what do they call the trim style I have? Aluminum with checkering pattern in it.

I haven't taken pics of my interior yet, but... on second thought a cross country (CA to FL) swap would involve being WITHOUT any trim for a couple of days. That doesn't work. Unless you wanna send yours first???

If you were closer I'd do a trade plus some cash. I have walnut trim in mine but I'm not willing to be without trim in my car. Sorry. Unless you want to take yours off, overnight it to me, I swap it out, then overnight it back to you. That's the only way I'd do it.

There is another thread (I will have to find it) 3M makes a product that would be good for wrapping trim, many others have been doing it with great results. I have 5 sample packs on my way to look over samples. My "thinking" was to get a less than desirable trim from either the E90/E92 and do a wrap and then do a 1 for 1 swap and "core" charge.

I found that the dash I have is silver anthracite, just do a search in the forum and there are pictures of other cars with it

I have an MT 335i with Gray Poplar Wood Trim. I would very much like to trade trim with you. I have an M-Sport package on my 335i as well, but the bigger question is do you have iDrive? I don't have iDrive and I also just have a simple open tray in the front of my center console under the stereo as opposed to the type that has a flip-up cover. In the back center console the little tray does have a flip-up cover.

I only mention this because the iDrive console trim has different openings than those like mine that have no navigation system. I swear I've seen consoles with the little flip-up tray (an ashtray without the ashtray or lighter) in the front, but mine lacks that so if yours has it I have no trim piece to cover the little flip-up door.

Like you I've never removed this trim and I won't until I'm ready to replace it, but there are write-ups and youtube videos out there for stuff like that.

I really want ANY trim except wood so if you want to swap and you want my trim just let me know and we'll take the trim-removal plunge together. If you have no interest let me know so I can post a swap thread.
