this would come in handy when some prick pulls up too close behind you at the red light.. specially if he has a plastic bumper

Fwiw, I recommend setting the Ignition ON Tom at least 100rpm lower than the Igniton OFF Rpm. If they are too close, you will get the backfiring you see in the video. Then again, some like that. It's not terrible for the turbos. But it's not great for them either.

As you can see shiv I got everything working but the NLS, I'll have to mess with the wiring more when I get the chance.

when you get those backfires your essentially using the turbine housing as the combustion chamber...........thats my understanding of it.

it does look cool though

Honestly for all of you guys worried about what's going to happen..... I'm under warranty and I can get it fixed even if they wouldn't cover it, that's why I work 60 hrs a week lol.

Sorry for the noob question! What would make the car backfire like that? Is it dumping of unburned extra fuel in the exhaust?

Well more so the exhaust manifold. Though I guess some of the combustion happens in the turbine housing, the volume is biased towards the manifold big time. Which is why it's not sooooooo bad for the turbo itself. Doing this on a custom tube manifold is not something I recommend, however. Those welds would need to be very clean and tight.

This is pointless... I think it is cool to shoot flames but this is kind of ridiculous.
