M3 Rep front bumper question

My M3 rep front bumper will arrive tomorrow and will be painted this week. Will there be any problems in the long run if I remove the air duct?

Mine has been removed for a few months, but I don't track my car. I haven't notice any degraded brake performance in 90 degree Florida heat to date.

I heard the oem M3 air duct will fit perfectly?

I'm from Houston and is hot as hell during summer time

it fits perfectly in that it lines up with the hole in the bumper. the rear end of the vent is another story. the driver side has to be hacked up quite a bit
