TPM sensors
Hi,
I currently have one set of tires/rims for winter and plan to buy another summer set. Would I need tpm sensors and what is the best place to get them? What if I don't have tpm sensors, will any warning lights come on, can I disable any warnings? I don't really care about it. Thank you. |

Don't necessarily need them, but a light will always be on.
There are a lot of different places you can get them - Tirerack, **********s, Pyspeed, Classifieds, etc

TPMS
The traction controls will limit the acceleration on an Xi and limp when throttling hard because the system thinks that there is a malfuction because the sensors are not responding when deleted. You have to disable traction controls when you start to bypass this, also not reccomended.
I just copped a set because I can't live having to bypass the DTC and 2 daskbord lights. Get them non-oem new from Sean@PYSpeed, think he is priced $170 shipped. Most members sell between $120-190. |
