I'm at a crossroad in my life.

It's time for me to decide. Friends, family, girl, and Diablo 3.

What do I do with the first three once Diablo is back in 9 days?

I was under the impression that the feedback from the beta was that it was completely and totally underwhelming.... But I guess you guys liked it?

I didn't particularly like it, but I was hyper competitive in D2 and I don't plan on losing any ground with D3...

I'm in the same boat man, except having a wife makes things worse. I plan on taking 2 weeks of vacation and playing the hell out of it to get it out of my system. After that, will be a casual player (8hr/week).

On a side note, I just updated my gaming computer for $600.
- AMD Phenom II 980
- ASUS Sabertooth
- 8gb G.Skill Sniper DDR3 2200
- EVGA GTX 480

I know the CPU and GPU are slightly outdated, but they are capable of running as fast, if not faster, than the newer i7/fx and GTX 560 Ti or 570. I'm sure this will demolish D3 as the system req's are not that great.

once d3 comes out, everything else is secondary

less than a week left till release... can't wait to play co-op and pvp. it should be ****ing amazing!!
