Question e90 Tail light question - LED Blacklines

I've been thinking about getting LED blacklines for my e90, but not sure I like the look of the clear tail light lens they have. I think the OEM lens looks much nicer.

I want to take the lens of the OEM blackline off and put it on the Depot tail body, effectively creating LED OEM blacklines.

Anyone ever tried this? Can the tail light be taken apart in the oven similar to the headlights?

Constructive criticism only please.
