New Brake Option from StaSIS Engineering - 365mm Alcon

I was looking for something for a friends Audi on StaSIS engineering's website..and I saw this for E90. Dont know if it would work on the 335i...but I can check.

Looks like the kit lists for $3295...

Monobloc4 - 365mm (14.4")
Big Brake System

One look says it all - high performance, ultra-refined technology and style with massive gripping power. Nothing screams from behind the spokes like an Alcon-based braking system from STaSIS.

What It will do for you:

NO MORE FADE
Higher heat absorption and dispersion
makes for shorter stops turn after turn

IMPROVED PEDAL FEEL

SAY NO TO WARPED ROTORS
Properly Designed 2-Piece Floating Rotors = Quiet, warp-free performance

QUICKER REACTION TIME
Short, consistent pedal travel can save your life in a panic situation

SHED THE POUNDS
Less weight gives shorter stops, quicker acceleration, improved steering feel and handling

LOWER LONGTERM MAINTENANCE COSTS
Cutting edge design = durable, low-cost system

COMPATIBILITY & EASE OF INSTALLATION
Compatible with ABS and traction control systems with brake bias designed to ensure ultimate gripping power.
All hardware is included to ensure a quick and seamless installation.

StaSIS knows their stuff. I am real good friends with the owner...Paul Lambert. They campaign three Audis in Speed World Challenge Touring Car. BTW, I am not getting compensated in any way by posting or promoting this option..I just happened to see they had a kit..and I thought some of you might be interested in it. That is all.

I have a stasis big brake kit on my S4. I started with just the front kit and drove with it like that for about a year, then added the matching rear kit.
It wasn't the Alcon kit, it was the earlier one with the Audi S8 calipers.
With just the front kit on I got better overall braking (better modulation & feel, shorter stopping, better fade resistance), but if your back pads are not well matched with the new front, it can throw off the braking bias (the proportion of braking force sent to front vs back when you press the brake). Meaning, under lockup conditions the back end could lock up before the front. You can compensate for this by adjusting the brake proportioning valve also but I added the rear kit and that made everything right. I agree, Stasis has good stuff.

Stasis/Alcon brakes are awesome, up there with AP Racing IMO.

Too bad they dont make a rear kit, didn't make one for the Evo either, which wasn't a big deal cause of the stock Brembo's, but just for aesthetics on a BMW I'd want to do the rears also.

It's a shame they dont make a rear kit, cause the fronts are the same price as Stoptech's kit, which is the one I'm getting. I'm just really anal about things matching, otherwise I'd be all over these.
