First mod (exhaust)
and happy BD to me:
I got this magnaflow a few days back, but with so many other errands, finally got to tackle this myself.(safety first always) Took me 3 hours with a few breaks in betwee using basic tools. overall and easy DIY. Just follow the instructions. here are some pics... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The sound is subtle and very mellow. pass 3500 RPM's and you will enjoy the sound even more. non intrussive city and highway inside cabin. Im very please with the 3.5 doble wall tips as well. Cheers! Lou. |

If you're not doing anything with that muffler, you can probably sell it to Gavin@MMW. It's approx $50 to ship UPS so i'd ask for maybe $75-100 to cover that plus profit. ^__^
As posted above, post some pics and/or a sound clip of your results. |

only the sigle section is 2.5 after the duals 2.0 after secondary cats.
The resonator inside core is 2.25 Im not turbo, so not worried about the 2.25 core. Rear muffler is 2.5 single side in by dual side 2.25 out My guess is that bigger's not always better which in this case prevents cabin drone and resonance. Thanks. the one in the floor is from the stock setup 268 and the ones on the car are 125. Lou. Last edited by 33beto; 12-08-2011 at 01:41 PM.. |

Happy birthday! Post your video in my exhaust thread, it's a missing puzzle piece. I've yet to hear a Magnaflow on a 328i, but would assume it's similar to a 330's.

/\ If you're into keeping the peace with your neighbors, sure.
If you want every person in a 2 mile radius to know your are a BAMF, go eisenmann. If you want to have eisenmann sound without selling a kidney and an arm, go custom.
