I think silverbmz3's point was more about the fact that the 2 parts of a bikini were the top and the bottom bits. I haven't come accross any women with breasts of such differing proportions that they require 2 different cup sizes in one bra - or indeed a woman with 3 breasts. However, I do appreciate that things are a little more relaxed in Northern Essex and I don't really mix in the same circles as you - wife swapping, dogging etc. There is an excellent illustrated 'cough' article on Wikipedia about bikinis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bikini Of course the the word bikini is not a true use of the prefix 'bi' (unlike bi-turbo) Rather it was an attempt by a plucky frenchman (Louis Reard) to gain maximum exposure for his daring new 2 piece swimsuit, by taking advantage of widespread publicity regarding the recent nuclear tests at the Bikini Atoll. http://www.answers.com/topic/bikini I'd like to publicly thank Mr Reard for his contribution to our way of life. So I'm still right and Carl is still a peanut |

I'd say Mr Reard is "right" (for his contribution to our way of life) and we're all peanuts for caring what Carl says about his exhaust... if he wants to call it the carlosfandangoturbo I think we should respect his right to do that....that is presumably how language has evolved If Mr Reard had called it a bikini because it has two parts (a perfectly reasonable naming convention and use of the prefix according to most sources on the net) presumably you'd now be happy with Carl's description.....or not.... but I suspect in the scheme of things we've all got too much time on our hands if we care.
