Short Shifter Installation

Hi,

I bought this short shift kit from turner motorsport and i am having hard time installing it as the instructions are not clear to me and without a hoist i can't get to the bottom of the car.

http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-19...clearance.aspx

Does anyone know who can install this for me in the GTA?
Thank you.

i did it alone with the e90 diy, and basic home garage tools. You can install it without a hoist, but you have to get right under the car. Its tight work, and easier if you have help. it's not a complicated task, and any mechanic should be able to do it - but why not go to experts like bimmersport etc?

Thank you, i will give them a call.
i have 09 335xi and instructions say i have to remove the exhaust, shaft and few other components which i can not really do by lifting the car with a jack. unless if i have some hints none of the instructions in the dyi in this forum apply to my setup and no they are not similar to mine.

I have an e92 09 335xi and I installed it the BMW ssk myself. You don't need to go under the car for installation. I just followed the DIY here. Prior to installation, i asked Ivo @ Columbus auto for a quote. He said it's a 1hr charge so it's very reasonable to get it installed by a pro.

see, bmw ssk is different, has the plastic ball and gives you space to install the pin before you snap it in. with UUC due to the additional metal bearing this is not an option, you have to go under the car.
