E92 Borla

The Borla exhaust, does anyone have dyno numbers for it? I like the quiet sound compared to other systems, but curious about the HP gains.

sup g? its Patrick. call harold from hp autowerks. I got my ITG filter from him and he has the info on the borla system. he helped develop it too. hows the RD Box been treating you?

Whats up bro. The black box is good. Kinda hot in the day time this week, but man at night it really pulls. I just ordered a Borla exhaust but Im having second thoughts. I originally decided to get it because it seems quieter than other exhaust. Really to me a loud exhaust that gives me 5 extra hp just isn't worth it. And if I wanted to squeeze every single HP out of my 335, I probably would have went with the procede chip, but thats not the road I decided to go. Wanted some safe HP =)
Anyways, so now I'm really ppl stating 30hp from the Borla exhaust which has to be total BS, and someone else said 15hp. I'm kinda worried, what if I install it and I don't really gain anything or even lose HP? LOL?
I read your post about the angel eyes, sorry it didnt work for you. However, I have the exact same ones and so does my buddy and it works for both of us. I can't see why it wouldnt work for you, unless BMW changed some headlight parts between earlier production vs. later production. Like the oil gauge perhaps? Say hi to sam for me! peace

the angel eyes did not work because the wattage is too high - 55W if you look at the bottom of the bulb itself, the "true" wattage will be there. its supposed to be 35W. Al good though

I just got new ones from GP Thunder - work s great! The fog lights are still the ones you gave me and they are perfect!!!! (55W).

For the Exhaust, I think that the Borla is definitely not putting out 30HP....no way. 15hp without a mid pipe section? - no way too. the RD one seems to be good but I haven't seen the dyno charts that give out the "broken-in" HP gain yet. But man.....they look SO BAD ASS. By far the most beautiful quad exhaust system i have seen thus far. WOW.

BTW, I installed the KW already......damn man. its the shit. I LOVE IT. very smooth and nice ride. I'll post pics soon....getting it corner balanced soon too.
