As i peabe the lot i had to reerse again and i pit the shifter into reverse and my ar wouldnt move i floored it and the car wouldnt move. I put it back into drive and i had drive but no reverse. Tranny went....did you check to see if it had fluid? Might be a tranny fluid leak.

Did you see fluid when you left? Obviously since it's raining now you can't go back to the spot and check (assuming the spot is outdoors).... If your car is under warranty, let the dealership look at it.

If it's fluid, that's not too awful. If you did something more serious & the repairs aren't coverded by a warranty, I'd say take it to Level 10 transmissions. I was reading about people who have ATs & either have killed their trans or want something more responsive/upgraded over the OEM trans.

http://www.levelten.com/bmw_transmis...parts_s/29.htm

I'm considering right now taking my car to them (they're located in NJ; less than an hr from belleville) & letting them flash the DME's trans settings to get something more responsive. But you can see from their website they also do BMW trans rebuilds, which will probably be more affordable/better long term compared against a dealership repair.
