Exact same reason as Evil Diesel,
Liked the M sports but liked the 230's more....... ![]() Happy with the decision in the end as my mate has just bought the E93 335i M Sports and I have to say I prefer the backend on the SE...... although I do like the feel of the steering wheel more in the M Sports, might have it fitted to my E92 335i Non Sports.

Personally I dont like the rear bumper and lack of side skirts on the SE. I really like the black section around the exhausts in the back bumper and the M side skirts catch the light great on a nice day. That is why I waited until the M Sport became available.

As I put the deposit down last May (2006) I had no idea what the spec for the e93 was going to be let alone have a hard top. I did have the opportunity to choose the M Sport but I think it represents poor value for money.
There isn't the visual impact on the e93 in the same way I think the e46 M Sport has over the standard car. Much better to spec the SE the way you want it. Miopyk ![]() |

M sport- SE - 2.0 - 3.0tt - Petrol - Diesel - E91 - 92 - 93
Whatever, they are all fine cars that we OWN between us (accept carl 'cos its his Daddys) so ![]() Although i have to Confess the 335d M Sport E92 in Sparkling Graphite is by far the best choice ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Went for the M-Sport on my 335i as IMO it looks way more purposeful than the SE.
![]() But then, with a diesel, you don't want a low front bumper when your ploughing your fields............ ![]() Also, all M-Sports may look the same but you will soon know if its a 335i (or even a 'd'!!!!!) when it comes screaming past! ![]() |
