There's some funny responses in this thread.
It doesn't matter WHAT is happening, it's his property, people shouldn't be driving on it. However, if you can't explain why it's bothering you, prepare to live next door to worse neighbors than they are now. I like the box of chocolates idea with a sternly written note. I've asked nicely on several occassions that your friends/relatives stop driving over my property. Please see that it stops immediately. I am trying to be a good neighbor. |

I might get flamed for this, but I would, at all costs avoid conflict with them. If you think you're pissed about the lawn, how you going to feel when they run their key from front to back on your car?
Suggestions to resolve without any conflict: STEP 1) Get a outdoor HIGH QUALITY surveillance camera before you do shit. It's more than likely you are dealing with idiots who will "teach you a lesson" if you do anything they don't like. You will want to be able to read plates, see times, faces, etc. STEP 2) Have a friend of yours go up to their door and knock and pretend to be a sales person. Explain that he's selling landscaping rocks in the neighbourhood and if they want to buy some landscaping rocks he can have them delivered and installed. I would even have a pricing sheet with insane prices on them just in case they ask (and so they say no!) STEP 3) Have friend (or friends) come over and install the landscaping rocks everyone talks about. Rent a van or whatever you need to. A few hundred bucks seems worth it at this point. It's harder to confront people that know where you live and can easily damage your property at a moments notice. If they are such a**holes to ignore you then think about what they will be like if they are pissed off. |

Thought this thread was long dead. But okay. I'll update haha.
Helped one of them replace a headlight bulb one night. They haven't done it since. Guess they figured it was useful to have me around. |
