Satellite oem receiver install - Calgary
Hi everyone. I just picked up my first BMW - a 2008 335xi coupe. I have a number of questions, but I'll start with this one:
My car has the sat prep. Im trying to figure out the best way to get sat radio installed. Has anyone had one of the Calgary dealers install the oem receiver and recode? I have heard horror stories about dealing with the Calgary dealerships (natural result of a monopoly i suppose). I also make it to edmonton fairly regularly. Has anyone had experience dealing with any of the dealerships up there? I'm very interested to know what people have paid at the various dealerships in AB. I just want to make sure I'm not taken advantage of. Thanks in advance for replies. Cheers, Chris |

Thanks. I'll PM him once i have enough posts to PM. I will still need to obtain the unit and do the installation. I can probably find the unit without too much trouble, but do you have a suggestion for install?

You have to provide a little more info. . . You have sat prep, but do you have i-drive? You can go with satellite radio or if you have iPod integration it works for any iPod/iPhone/iPad and works with your steering wheel controls and save yourself some money cause $500-600 is way too much for a unit from the dealer I guess the 1 year included subscription isn't bad. . .
